Ron Paul at CPAC: How to I.D. a real conservative (and it ain’t Rush Limbaugh or the GOP)
1. Follow the constitution
2. Get rid of the monstrous fraud known as the Federal Reserve System (Support H.R. 1207 - Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2009 so we have a clue what the FED is doing!!!)
3. Respect the Rule of Law
4. Repeal the 16th and 17th amendment
5. Support individual liberty (The main purpose of government is preservation of individual liberty)
6. Restrain spending before the dollar is worthless. Restore “honest money” and stop printing money from thin air
7. Do a total 180 on our foreign policy. The person most pleased with our foreign policy is Osama bin Laden. We spend trillions “protecting” the world. This will eventually end because we won’t be able to afford it.
8. Stop trying to regulate social behaviors and end the “drug war”. Leave these issues to the states where it belongs
9. Respect the rights of the individual states!!!! (Right to life could have been better helped via state law)
The great thing is that these things will happen one way or another. We will eventually be too broke to continue things the way they are now.
