To close out the day, Bob visited the NewsHour with Jim Lehrer, though Mr. Lehrer was absent this evening, to discuss the bailout and actions that would have been taken in a Barr Administration to avoid a massive burden on the taxpayers like what was supported by Sen. John McCain and Sen. Barack Obama.

Bob talked at length about the economy and took some phone calls from viewers about a wide range of subjects such as the PATRIOT Act, the Iraq War and ballot access.
