Jazz Shaw at The Moderate Voice says that the voices of sanity on the bailout are being ignored:
When it comes to matters of fiscal conservatism, it often becomes a lonely business to stand on the beach by yourself, shouting at the ocean with these foul tasting, sandy pebbles in your mouth. Readers have made their […]SHARETHIS.addEntry({ title: “Barr, a voice of fiscal sanity, left out of discussion”, url: “http://blog.bobbarr2008.com/2008/09/29/barr-a-voice-of-fiscal-sanity-left-out-of-discussion/” });

I was looking over the appeal to the Supreme Court on the Louisiana ballot access case (you can read it here). This section of the petition is just excellent:
The Secretary of State took an emergency appeal to the Fifth Circuit on September 25, 2008. The following day, the Fifth Circuit entered its Order […]SHARETHIS.addEntry({ title: “On the Louisiana case…”, url: “http://blog.bobbarr2008.com/2008/09/27/on-the-louisiana-case/” });
The full counter-debate will be posted as soon as it is available, but here is the Q&A from last night with Bob, with reason’s editor Matt Welch moderating. It’s just a little teaser for those of you who missed the counter-debate.
We are told that anywhere between 175 to 200 […]SHARETHIS.addEntry({ title: “Q&A with Bob at reason HQ”, url: “http://blog.bobbarr2008.com/2008/09/27/qa-with-bob-at-reason-hq/” });
The Firth Circuit Court of Appeals has removed Bob Barr from the Louisiana ballot. Shortly after the lower court decision, the state filed an appeal to the federal appellate court.
We are appealing directly to the United States Supreme Court today. You can read the 17 page appeal here.

Bob Barr has thrown in his two cents about last night’s debate over at the Huffington Post and says the tone of the debate would have been much different had Liberty had a voice:
There’s not a dime’s worth of difference between Senator McCain and Senator Obama. The viewers of this first presidential “debate” missed the […]SHARETHIS.addEntry({ title: “Barr: The Debate That Wasn’t”, url: “http://blog.bobbarr2008.com/2008/09/27/barr-the-debate-that-wasnt/” });
