McCain sues to have Bob Barr removed from PA ballot
John McCain v.2000.01.14 when George W. Bush tried to keep him on the ballot- ”We all know that the Berlin wall is down,” Mr. McCain said as he rode a campaign bus between events here. ”People should be able to get on the ballot in states. I’m sure that if Governor Bush told them, don’t do that, don’t remove McCain’s name, they would respond. Everybody knows that I am a legitimate candidate. I should be on the ballot.”
”Let’s not have the kind of Stalinist politics that the state of New York, the Republican Party, has been practicing,” he told reporters after a speech to the State Legislature in Concord, N.H.
”I would never consider, ever consider,” he said, ”allowing a supporter of mine to challenge Governor Bush’s right to be on the ballot in all 50 states.”


[…] McCain is suing to keep Bob Barr off of the ballot in PA. In an ironic twist of karma, John McCain/Sarah Palin and Barack Obama/Joe Biden both missed the deadline to get on the ballot in Texas! McCain has yet to file as of this post. I am sure the two party duopoly will prevail in the end, but it’s still fun in the mean time. Rules are rules unless you have an R or D behind your name.
