On going to war, Romney will ask lawyers what to do? Oh, no, he did not say that, did he?
If he were president, he was asked, would he get Congress’s authorization to take military action against Iran’s nuclear facilities?
‘You sit down with your attorneys,’ said Romney, explaining his decision-making process in a time of potential crisis. That is one of the most pitiful answers I have ever heard? It was great to see Ron Paul remind Romney of a little thing called the constitution. The sad thing is that, other than Ron Paul, it does not seem that any of the other candidates have actually read the constitution. Can no one else notice a pattern with the multitude of undeclared wars since World War II? Hint, they don’t usually work out very well. The Gulf War I might have been the exception to this long line of failures, if not for the fact that we picked it up a dozen years later and screwed it up.
