Alcohol prohibition didn’t work. All it did was put brewers and workers out of business while allowing bootleggers and gangsters get rich. And did anyone stop drinking? Free and open economics are the best way to go. Do you see any crime in distributing alcohol? Now how about in weed? You make it legal and there is not incentive to smuggle drugs. Prices would come down due to supply and competition, and violence would subside because there’s no turf to protect anymore.
