I am always suspicious of “only hope” claims, maybe Gore “was only hope” back in the day. Who knows? Looks like he is happy with that to me.
Help me Al Gore, you’re our only hope!
Craige really puts it on the line. Basically, if it turns out that Al Gore was right he will go down in history as the biggest “was our only hope” in history. If he were to get back in and win, he would have the much more difficult task of actually doing something about the big issues of the day and fullfilling the “only hope” moniker.
